Al-Qassam Brigades carries out ambush against Israeli forces in northern Gaza

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility on Sunday for a complex ambush it carried out the previous day against Israeli forces.

In a statement issued via Telegram, the group said it had executed the “Breaking the Sword” ambush east of the town of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza.

The operation reportedly involved targeting an Israeli military vehicle, followed by an attack on the support forces that arrived at the scene using an anti-personnel explosive device.
The group also claimed to have targeted a newly established Israeli military base with four RPGs and several mortar shells.
