Making a statement on the tournament’s opening night, Juventus comfortably dispatched PSV, securing their first Champions League opening-match victory since 2021. The two-time champions looked formidable, outclassing Peter Bosz’s side with a commanding performance.

Teenage sensation Kenan Yildiz etched his name into Juventus history, becoming their youngest-ever Champions League scorer. His sublime 20th-minute strike, a perfectly curled shot, set the tone for the evening.

Midfielder Weston McKennie doubled Juventus' lead soon after, calmly slotting home Nicolas Gonzalez’s deflected cross. Gonzalez later turned from provider to scorer, finishing off a clever through ball from Dusan Vlahovic with a delicate chip just after the break.
