NYC Kayaking | Exploring Brooklyn's Isolated Canarsie Pol Island

Join me on a kayaking adventure to Canarsie Pol in Jamaica Bay, NYC! This journey is more than just scenic beauty while paddling to the island. I also explored the island itself and unfortunately, encountered the harsh reality of pollution, with trash washing up on the shores. There were multiple abandoned boats washed up along the interior of the island, which was a unique sight to see. It's incredible to see how many uninhabited islands NYC has to offer and I'm grateful to be able to explore them.
