Rain Barrel Installation Demo - Belvedere Community Association

The Belvedere Community Association, in Arnold Maryland recently held a rain barrel installation demonstration. The BCA community rain barrel drive was made possible by a grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust. This video was created in April 2025 by a local Master Watershed Steward Juliet, with the help of her husband Greg, to provide information to community members for installing their rain barrels in a residential setting. Many thanks to Lisa for providing her home for the demonstration.

Additional clarification - Gutters are either 4 or 6". Downspouts will be 2x3 or 3x4. Bigger (commercial usually) buildings can be 4x5”
