How to make a modern icon design using Adobe Illustrator! Hi again, it’s Tom with Satori Graphics back with another graphic design Illustrator tutorial; today how to make a modern icon design from scratch using the powerhouse vector software, Adobe Illustrator. You do not have to make a paper plane symbol of course, you can use my method to create many different icons.

To start with in this Illustrator tutorial, we use shape tools to make the basis of our modern vector icon and then add gradients to the shapes. I show you who to use effects such as round corners as well, which all tie together to complete the modern feel of todays icon design.

It is pretty straight forward, and I hope that you all can learn the basics of designing a modern icon design using Adobe Illustrator. If you do encounter any issues let me know and I will try and help out :)
