This technique doesn’t work well with liquids (they are too wet) same for liquid concealers. This does work with mineral fountains (but not standard powder) but not to the same degree. Results can very. If you’re using a mineral or powder foundation all over its still recommenced to use a cream to blend the hard edge. Remember not to go lighter than your skin tone or the shadow can look ashy.

Applying mineral foundation to a blending brush works very well but doesn’t give the same ‘soft’ effect as a cream foundation on a sponge.

A beauty blender doesn’t work as well because the area is too big. The triangle edge is what blends.

Applying a cream foundation to a blending brush works but it’s very easy to ‘erase’ more than blend. It’s not recommend.

Use this technique to perfect and play. But remember that good blending and placement are still MAJOR when it comes to eyeshadow. It’s easy to save eyeshadow but not easy to save poor placement for your eye shape. Your eyes shape is VERY IMPORTANT. Placement is key.
