( How to dance Punta) # Basic Steps
1. *Positioning*: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, with your knees slightly bent.
2. *Weight distribution*: Distribute your weight evenly between both feet.
3. *Posture*: Keep your back straight, chest out, and shoulders relaxed.
Footwork
1. *Step-touch*: Step to the side with one foot (either left or right) and touch the ground with the toe of the other foot.
2. *Close-step*: Bring the foot that stepped to the side back to the starting position, closing the gap between your feet.
3. *Repeat*: Alternate feet, stepping to the side and closing the gap.

Hip Movement
1. *Hip swivel*: As you step to the side, swivel your hips in the direction of the step.
2. *Hip bump*: As you close the gap, bump your hips slightly in the opposite direction.

Arm Movement
