A decade ago, the bodies of 11 women were unearthed in New Mexico's West Mesa, just west of the Rio Grande. The killer, however, has yet to be caught.

The discovery of more remains in 2018, near the original mass grave, brought attention back to the original gruesome slayings, and investigators were back on the case.

We worked with Albuquerque news station, KOAT, to bring you a look at the full story, and reporter Nancy Laflin gave us an inside look at what it's like reporting on such a harrowing case that stretches over almost a decade.
