A Different Thread -“Over Again” NPR Tiny Desk Submission

A Different Thread is a transatlantic collaboration between Alicia Best (Durham, North Carolina) and Robert Jackson (Midlands, England). The two met busking in Ireland, a chance encounter that sparked a musical journey that spans over nine years, a dozen countries, and two studio albums. Their original songs weave elements of Celtic balladry with Appalachian blues to create an original blend of Folk/Americana.

This song is an ode to new beginnings and working towards a brighter future and is the title track from their upcoming album Over Again (September 2025).
