Mel Fisher Days

Each year a celebration is held to commemorate Mel Fisher’s famous 16- year search for the Spanish galleon Atocha which lead to a $450 million dollar treasure discovery in the waters just off Key West. This year we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the discovery of the Mother Lode of the Atocha with series of events are scheduled from July 9-12, 2015 in Key West, Florida. Events include a Treasure Hunt on land with a $5,000 cash prize, a Rocking’ Block Party on Duval Street with a free concert, Pirate Pub Crawl and Ball, Bingo Brunch, Poker, Dock Party, Diver Reunion, Lifetime Achievement Award and more.
