a) 5 = Grace, God’s unmerited Favour.
b) 7 = Completion, perfection, spiritual fulfilment.
c) 8 = New Beginnings, Abundance, Transcendence, new paths.
d) 6 = “VAV” In Hebrew, means connections, linking, hook, symbolizing bridging heaven and earth, establishing future generations. ”Vav” is the bond between divine and earth.
2026 / 5786 = Year of powerful connections, new beginnings, bridging heaven and earth to establish God’s Promises into tangible realities marked by divine favour = 5), completion = 7), Leading to new paths = 8), powerful spoken words emphasizing unity and God partnering with humanity = 6).

GOD IS INVITING HUMANITY TO STAY CONNECTED TO HIM.
JOHN 15:4-10 The word “remain” is mentioned 10 times from V. 4-10.
Strong Concordance use the word “Abide” (GK “Meno”) = which means ”To remain as one, not to become another or different”.
Remain means, To stay, dwell or abide. It also means to “Endure, last, survive. abide, remain is a deep, steadfast union and perseverance” in the relationship.
REMAIN, ABIDE = Simply means “Staying Connected to Jesus in a steadfast union”, even when you go through testing times.

Church: Best way to stay connected to the Lord is let your head rest on the Rock Jesus Christ. When your mind is rested on the Rock, you begin to see revelations.

HOW DO YOU STAY CONNECTED TO JESUS?
1. PRUNING (John 15 V. 1-3) –is a process, necessary for Fruitfulness.
a) John 15 begins with the “Pruning Process”. Father cuts off branches that don’t bear fruit, and prunes the ones that bears fruit, to bear more fruits.
b) Pruning is painful, but it removes dirt of and refine your character.
c) Pruning is the discipline that correct bad behavior, remove your bad habits, and replace them with godly ones.
Prov.13:24
Heb.12:6
Pruning removes the things that hinders your daily connection to the Lord Jesus everyday.

2. GOD’S WORD MUST REMAIN INSIDE YOU.
John 15 v.7
v.9-10 Obey Jesus’ commandments and remain in His love.
Ps.19:7- 8 This is what the Word of the Lord does for you.
1. Instructions of the Lord (God’s word) is perfect... reviving the soul.
2. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the fool.
3. The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart.
4. The commands of the are clear, giving insight for living.

God’s Word keeps you connected to the Lord Jesus everyday.

3. PRAYERS: SPENDING QUALITY TIME WITH JESUS.
John 15 V.7
Effective prayers comes from staying connected to the Lord, and His word remains inside you.
Prayers is control by God’s word. Praying according to God’s Word. Praying according to the Constitution of the Kingdom of God, making petition according to the Constitution of the Kingdom of God.
Prayers establish a close relationship with Jesus.
The more you spend time in prayers the more you stay connected to the Lord Jesus.

4. ESTABLISH A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
John 15:1-11 Does not mention the Holy Spirit. Yet, the Gospel of John talks a lot about the work of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, this relationship with the Holy Spirit is imperative, because the Holy Spirit is connecting us to the Father and Jesus.

CLIMAX
John 15:4-7. Remain, abide in Christ is Staying connected to the Lord.
1. And staying connected to the Lord invites all sorts of blessings, multiplication and successes.
2. When you stay connected to the Lord, you will always be strong spiritually.
3. Staying connected to the Lord will bring joy , happiness and fulfilment.
John 15:11 “I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!”.
Disconnecting yourself from the Lord invites failure, going backwards, disappointment and sadness.
