It’s about this boy named rintarou who is a highschooler with an intimidating face which causes people to avoid him.
However while he does have a group of friends, there a secret that he keeps from them, which is that he sometimes helps out at his family’s cake shop
But one day rintarou sees a customer at a table, but she runs off before he can talk to her.
The next day, he receives an apology from the girl, Kaoruko, who explains that she did not run away because of his appearance and that she believes he is a kind-hearted person.
And in this moment he is suprised by Kaoruko's bright personality, Now forming a friendship with her which progresses into something else
