Our last run of the 1/5th scale petrol rovan rofun RF5 radio controlled RC car/buggy .
We take it on a rally course then hit the field!

We show the 36cc engines pitfalls and the reason we are now going for more power and brushless.
Is it as good as the MCD xr5 or will it be better once brushless!

The rf5 comes complete with a powerful 36 CC 2-stroke engine. On a strong and rigid integrated aluminium alloy t6 chassis, this 1/5 scale mini race car has been carefully constructed to deliver a premium quality product without compromising on power. This RC is built with a rugged stainless steel exhaust pipe which is in turn cooled by an air cooling system.
It offers a 4WD shaft drive system with front and rear differentials. Rofun Rovan have also opted to use both front and rear clamp double disc brakes on this occasion to handle the power of the RF5 even at higher speeds.
