Wow, I really missed a lot of eliminations right at the start...
B is either 2 or 3. Suppose B was 3, then A and C would have to be 8 and 9, because of the ABA and CBC German Whispers. Since E is already 9, neither A nor C can be 9, a contradiction; therefore B cannot be 3 and must be 2.
