Andrew Tate RETURNS to Romania to face human trafficking charges

After weeks in the U.S., influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate are back in Romania, where they face charges of human trafficking and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women.

The Tates were arrested in Romania in late 2022 and formally indicted last year on charges they participated in a criminal ring that lured women to Romania, where they were allegedly sexually exploited.

Their return early Saturday comes nearly a month after a travel ban on them was lifted, after which they flew to the U.S. On Monday, upon leaving a police station in Voluntari, near Bucharest, Andrew Tate told reporters that he was "a free person who has not been convicted of anything."
