Floop ESS Hunter is a free REAPER script designed for automatic sibilance detection and reduction. This isn't a traditional De-Esser; it's a De-Stress-er that analyzes
your vocal items and writes precise volume envelope automation.

The unique value: Get clean vocal de-essing before EQ, compression, or any other processing. No more hunting every "S," "SH," or "CH" manually!

INSTALLATION STEPS:

Download the script and extract the Zip file.

Place "Floop Ess Hunter.lua" in your REAPER Resource Path/Scripts folder.

Install ReaImGui API via Reapack (as shown in the video).


TECHNICAL DETAILS:

The script scans the 3.5–9.5 kHz bands.

Uses ZCR (Zero Crossing Rate) and adaptive thresholds to calculate sibilant ratios.

Writes envelope points only where needed.

Includes presets for speech and singing.

Advanced settings let you adjust frequency limits and ramps for precise control.
