Quest 3 and Pico 4, as well as other glasses, can be connected to a drone to fly in the real world while looking at a huge virtual screen. Also, in this way, you can connect almost anything to the glasses - Blu-Ray player, Steam Deck, Legion Go, Ayaneo Air, PS4 and PS5 and other game consoles, a computer with a FPV simulator, a laptop and much more.
This is done by installing an APK with a video capture program on the glasses. How it works, what are the pros and cons - I tell you in the review.
I've tested these hardware and it is compatible with what I'm telling in this review:
VR goggles:
Quest 3 (V66, V67, V68)
Pico 4
Capture cards:
Elgato 4K X
Elgato HD60X
Ugreen HDMI USB capture card
Several unnamed UVC video capture boards
Sources:
PS5
Steam Deck
Lenovo Legion Go
Ayaneo Air 1S
MacBook Pro
Desktop computer with GTX 4070 Super
