Ingredients:
2 cups Flour
2 tbsp Ghee
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup Milk
Water as required
Directions for lacha paratha:
In a bowl add flour, ghee, salt, sugar and mix all together well.
Add milk and gradually add water. Knead medium soft dough. Cover it with cling. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts.
Roll out the dough and apply ghee and dust it with flour.
1st Method: Fold it as a fan plate. Apply some ghee on top of it and roll it out.
Rest it for 10-15 minutes.
2nd Method: Roll out the dough quite thin.
Apply ghee and dust it with flour.
Cut it in a thin strip and then start folding from one side to the other.
Then roll it around your hand and tie a knot.
Rest it for 10-15 minutes.
Now heat Tawa on medium flame.
Roll out the paratha with your hands or rolling pin.
Let it cook from one side then flip it over.
Apply ghee and flip it again. Apply some more ghee. Cook until golden brown.
Serve hot with Raita, Achaar etc.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Cooking Time: 6-8 minutes.
Serving: 2-3
