Old Brass Compass location 5:03
Geology for Beginners is a quest line you can start at the beginning of Chapter 2 in Red Dead Redemption II. For this mission, you have to find 10 rock carvings and mail in the coordinates to Francis Sinclair.
This video will show you a convenient order to find all the rock carvings to make this quest line quicker and easier. It will also show you how to get the Old Brass Compass, which can only be picked up at the end of this mission.
Completing Geology for Beginners, and finding the Old Brass Compass is required for Red Dead Redemption 2 100% completion. The compass is required to craft the Raven Claw Talisman from the Fence.
