Our season concert VI at @wienerkonzerthaus offered the possibility to delve into the multi-faceted composition "The Tailor of Time" by Australian composer Liza Lim. 🥁 Have a listen to the composer herself talking about the inspirational aspects behind her work and get to know more about the Sisyphean endeavor, which the percussionist is performing during this piece.
🎶 This concert conducted by Sylvain Cambreling also included Philippe Manoury’s "B-Partita (in memoriam Pierre Boulez)" and Pierre Boulez’ "…explosante-fixe…" .
