Did you ever have a teacher tell you growing up that Wikipedia wouldn’t count as a “credible source?” No matter how many websites you went to, it always seemed like Wikipedia had the answers to the questions you were looking for. However, the credibility of a source like Wikipedia was always in question because anyone could edit the source's information without having to prove that what they were posting was true. In Colossians 2, Paul is forced to correct information about Jesus, which had slowly infiltrated the church at Colosse.
Unfortunately, in our culture today, the Church is still fighting against these false teachings. The Church must be on guard against false doctrines and remain rooted in the truth of God’s Word.
