🧩 Project Progress:
In 2023, an official agreement was signed between the governor of Leningrad Region and the CEO of CryoGas JSC.
In Q4 2022, the project passed Glavgosexpertiza (Federal Expert Review).
In 2024, geotechnical and environmental surveys are underway.
👷♂️ Supplier & Contractor Opportunities:
Equipment:
Gas pre-treatment and purification systems
Refrigeration cycles (low-temperature compressors)
Cryogenic pumps, storage tanks, shut-off valves
I&C systems, automation cabinets
Small-scale gas turbines and power units
LNG truck loading systems, cryo-cylinder and ISO-container loading points
Services:
Engineering and adaptation to the existing facility
Equipment supply and installation
Piping, cabling, commissioning
Logistics and marine handling
📦 Procurement Timeline (estimated):
2024: Design and site surveys
2025: Core process equipment
2026–2028: Installation, integration, piping

🤝 Contacts & Coordination:
CryoGas JSC
— Tosno District, Leningrad Region
— General inquiries: [email protected]
— General Designer (terminal): PLATO Engineering LLC
— Environmental & Social Assessment: LenmorNIIProject JSC
🧯 Project-Specific Considerations:
The site is located in a marine logistics zone with cold-climate challenges
Certification required: GOST, TR CU 012/2011, ISO, as well as ATEX / IECEx for electrical equipment
Project is integrated into an existing LNG production facility — contractors must have experience working within operational infrastructure
📊 Market Impact: Why Export Rights Change Everything
📢 On February 15, 2025, CryoGas-Vysotsk received exclusive rights to independently export LNG.
— Previously, LNG was sold via a commission agreement with Gazprom Export. Now NOVATEK can export directly.
— The project shifted from a regional to a federally significant export platform, joining the ranks of Arctic LNG 1, 2, 3, and Yamal LNG.
Export potential:
— With direct export status, Vysotsk can scale LNG shipments to Turkey, Northern Europe, and Asia.
— With a 42,000 m³ storage tank and ship loading capacity of up to 30,000 m³ — this is a ready-to-use export chain.
🎯 Bottom Line:
CryoGas-Vysotsk is a rare opportunity to enter a live LNG project with real contracts opening in 2025.
