This 1952 Dodge Power Wagon has been sitting for more than a decade and a half… untouched, unmoved, and slowly sinking into the earth. Today, we’re digging it out, going through the old flathead six, and seeing if there’s any chance this thing will fire.
We don’t know what we’re in for yet — stuck valves, seized pistons, old wiring, mice, who knows. But there’s only one way to find out.
In this video:
Pulling the Power Wagon out of its resting place
Inspecting the engine after 16 years
Checking compression, spark, and fuel
Freeing up stuck components
The first real attempt at starting the truck
If you like old-school mechanical problem solving, barn-find rescues, and bringing Mopars back from the dead, you’re in the right place.
