Chuck attempts to jump off the high diving board at the pool, but chickens out at the last minute, making a bit of a spectacle on the way down. He’s deathly afraid of heights! To conquer this fear, he chooses to fly like the birds, and instead becomes a bird and produces a bunch of baby chicks that now think he’s their momma. Chuck takes the chicks to the carnival to show them a good time, but realizes he can’t be the mother they want him to be, so he chooses to give them up. Instead, they end up being put to work at the carnival by the evil proprietor. Chuck steals back the chicks and gets to the Ferris Wheel, where he tells the chicks the only way to escape is to fly away like their momma is about to do. Chuck jumps and, despite his best efforts, plummets to the ground. The chicks take flight and escape, and Chuck gets conscripted as a carnie.

The show follows Chuck McFarlane, an 11-year-old boy with an alien robot. When he gets himself into a lot of difficult situations, his robot, UD, hacks into "decider mode". Time freezes and UD gives Chuck three choices. He has to choose one and it will come true, but not always in the way he expects. His best friend, Misha, knows the art of combat and is often saving Chuck from monsters and threats. Whenever Chuck chooses to teleport them somewhere, Misha always comes with him.
