Soccer is a cool kusudama that looks like a soccer ball to me. It also has slight points at the vertices.
Folding Difficulty: 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑 Medium
Assembly Difficulty: 🌕🌗🌑🌑🌑 Easy
Paper Size: Square, 7cm x 7cm
Units: 30 (3 per vertex, 5 per face)
Model Height: ~9.8 cm
Model Strength: 🌕🌕🌗🌑🌑 Maybe can survive a couple of falls
Tips: For assembly, work from corner to corner. For each group of three, get the tips of the three flaps inside the pockets before pushing them all inside. I find that this helps assembly a lot.

Kusudama is a form of modular origami. The word originates from Japanese, meaning "medicine ball". The first stage in making kusudama is to fold 4, 6, 12, or, usually, 30 identical modules. Then, you assemble them into one large platonic solid, usually a dodecahedron or icosahedron, by connecting modules together. The result is a sturdy kaleidoscopic sphere that contains beautiful geometrical patterns.
