Summertime means we’re all clammed up here at the McKnight house! In this episode of Behind the Braids, we did some SUMMER CLEANING! Any other moms out there use spring or summer break to deep clean the house? We took out and organized everything in the garage, and power washed the floors. Then, I went out and sprayed the poison ivy in the creek behind our house in 100F weather!

Because it is also summer, Shaun and I also took Dax and Paisley to the public library to pick out a few books to read. Dax has been super interested in becoming an astronaut and chose a few fun books about space, flying, and science. Dax also unboxes his Tinker Crate box which, this month’s kit will teach him Morse code!

You’ll also get to see our new permanent office! It’s in the middle of being painted right now, and carpet goes in next week, but we’ll take you on a quick tour to see the new space.

Do any other moms out there do deep cleaning in the summer when everyone is home?
