In this video, I show how I lower my shed-mounted solar panels for the winter months using the same DIY pivot system built from 1 1/2" fence posts, ilet mounts, and stainless-steel hardware.
This simple design lets me adjust the tilt angle of the panels seasonally to capture more winter sun and prevent snow buildup — no expensive racking systems required.
Setup details: 1 1/2" galvanized fence posts for the main mountsIlet rings bolted into the shed rafters, Stainless steel half-circle post brackets securing panels to the poles, Easy manual adjustment for year-round efficiency, If you haven’t seen the original build, check out my first video:👉 “DIY Solar Shed Panel Mounting – Pivot System with Fence Posts & Stainless Steel Hardware”
