So much information is left out of most receptacle replacement tutorials. I did my best to cover everything a first time DIY'er would need to know to simply and safely change an outlet.
Specifically I address replacing a damaged but working end-of-run receptacle. This is a good starting point for someone learning about electrical wiring as it is a simple situation to explain many fundamental concepts.
