圣诞节自古以来都是孩子们特别期盼的节日，因此等待圣诞节到来的这段时间对孩子们来说就显得格外漫长，而倒数圣诞日历让等待变成了一个愉悦的过程。传统圣诞日历是一个装饰漂亮的拥有24个小窗户的礼盒，每个小窗户里面都藏着一个小礼物，或是小食品，或是小物件。在等待圣诞节来临的这段日子里，小朋友们每天打开对应当天日期的窗户，就可以得到藏在窗户里面的东西。 这个起源于20世纪德国的圣诞传统如今已经传遍欧洲很多国家，成为了孩子们过圣诞节的一个习俗了。近几年我家小朋友的圣诞日历都是我自己准备的，汇集了24份各种他喜欢的或是用的到的礼物，小朋友每次都特别喜欢和期待。也愿他的童年充满快乐和爱。

Christmas is always very speical for the children. When the calendar comes into December, kids can't wait and are excited already. The countdown Christmas calendar makes the wait a joy. The traditional Christmas calendar is decorated with 24 windows, each small window hides a little gift. Between 1st to 24th of the month, kids can open the corresponding date window every day for the gifts inside. The Christmas calendar originates in the 20th century in Germany, but now has spread to many countries in Europe and become a tradition for children.
Instead of buying a ready one, I made my kid's Christmas calendar myself again, collecting 24 small and different items, something he likes or needs. He liked it very much and was always very looking froward to it. May his childhood be filled with love and joy.
