I bought and built this bike before I had ever been on a street motorcycle. When I got it the clutch cable was broken, so I didn't even ride it before I started tearing it down. Near the end of the build I was really worried something would be wrong with the engine or drivetrain but it runs and shift awesome. I made most every part and welded this bike all myself. Some of the things I fabbed that are not in the video are; license bracket, coil brackets, headlight mount, sportster tank new front brackets made and tank modified to fit xs1100 fuel petcock, center mount speedometer bracket, seat hinge and lower spring mounts, battery box with separate key cylinder area, electronics box with access covers on each side and hidden mounts, rear fender found at swap meet and cut down. All the paint on this bike is spray paint! I used rustoleum wheel paint and clearcoat and it looks better and has lasted much better than I ever thought it would. I sprayed the tank with a two part automotive clear to keep it from getting gasoline damage. Thanks for looking.
