Keeping cabin air fresh and hygienic
Lifts have always been a common example of tight quarters, but that
doesn’t mean that they have to be a place where the air is stale. With
Schindler UV CleanAir, lift cabins can sanitise and cycle their air more
frequently and efficiently. That helps reduce the risk of infection and
goes a long way to keeping buildings accessible and their visitors
healthy.

With such high use and in such a limited space, the
lift environment can unfortunately facilitate the
spread of infections. Viruses and bacteria don’t just
contaminate shared contact surfaces such as
handrails and buttons, but also air space between
passengers. That can pose a significant health threat.
Using a combination of UV-C technology and a
specially developed filter, Schindler UV CleanAir
sanitises the air and purifies the environment to
make it safer for frequent use. The cabin air
purification system activates automatically and at
different times of the day to ensure around-the-clock
clean air.
