We have a day out at Morris Fest, Thoresby Park, Newark, Nottinghamshire, and this video shows an example of the classic vehicles on display.
There were some cloudy skies and spots of rain on our visit (the 2nd day of this event) so vehicle numbers were down a bit. Still a good showing though.
There was a large beer tent, food and drink stalls, auto jumble and other general stalls. A live brass band also performed.
The event itself is FREE entry. Parking is £3 all day in the car park.
The park is set within a massive estate including Thoresby Hall Hotel, a cafe, several craft shops and Infantry museum. Lots of things to see and do as well as the Morris Fest event.
Literally next door to Sherwood Forest.
A good summer day out especially if the weather is on your side.
Well worth a visit.
