This is an honest example of staying in Malawi as an ambitious foreigner. Trying to shoot content that pushes the boundaries of what locals are willing to do, play bagpipes in extreme heat, not destroy myself on the stool. My experience travelling Africa is very different from that of most bagpipers as I am always pushing towards a goal. My days are often extremely unusual but it is normally very challenging to film myself while in extreme situations. Hopefully soon I will be earning more and in a position to hire a cameraman - that will allow me to do a lot more cultural enrichment.
