The Taihang Grand Canyon is a scenic area in Henan Province is known for its stunning landscape, including deep canyons, steep cliffs, waterfalls, and crystal clear streams.
Layers of sedimentary rocks in this area, deposited over millions of years was subsequently uplifted and deformed around 50 million years ago. Over time, the exposed rocks in the area were eroded by wind, water, and resulted in the deep gorges, steep cliffs, and unusual rock formations now we can enjoy.
Taihang sky road is about 30km long scenic route located at the summit of the Taihang Mountain. The Road has more than 10 observation platforms where we can see perpendicular cliffs, overall shape of the canyon and surrounding peaks.
