Jose (signing): 
“STOP! Don’t scroll up — you have Deaf rights!” 
 
Jose and Cat walking casually on the sidewalk toward the GLAD building, wearing GLAD shirts. 
Jose (signing to Cat): 
“GLAD is here to work with everyone — Deaf* youth, adults, students, families, workers — we’ve got your back.” 
 
Jose and Cat continue walking. Actor 1 looks surprised. 
Cat (signing): 
“Wait — I have rights? For job interviews?” 
Jose (smiling, signing): 
“Yes! You have a right to an interpreter!” 
 
Deaf job seeker walks into a job interview — no interpreter. 
Hearing interviewer starts talking.  
Cat signs: “I’m Deaf.” 
Interviewer awkwardly says: 
Denise: “CAN YOU READ MY LIPS?” 
Interviewer slides over a notepad. Writing back and forth awkwardly. 
 
Two actors enter the GLAD building, warmly greeted at the front desk. 
Jose (signing): 
“GLAD provides free ASL interpreters for interviews, orientation, and some training. 
We help with job applications, resumes, and interview practice. 
We support you for 60 days after you’re hired. 
Interpreter access for interviews is ALWAYS your right.” 

Cat turns to Jose, both standing just inside the GLAD building entrance. 
Cat (signing): 
“There are more rights I didn’t even know about?” 
Jose (signing, smiling): 
“Yes! Want to learn more?” 
(Jose & Cat signing to camera)
“Stay tuned for our next video — or come inside! We’ll work with you!”
