Welcome back to another video by Spottersuk! Today we are on The South Western Mainline with Trains at Shawford, In This Video you will see services by South Western Railway, Cross Country and some freight as well!

Shawford is a station i have filmed at a number of times, as it has a great view looking down towards Eastleigh and Southampton Central. Shawford is located between Eastleigh and Winchester on the South Western Mainline which means it is a hotspot for freight with Freightliner services Heading down towards Southampton Docks along with other freight operating Comapnys such as GBRf and also DB Schenker.

The Line Speed through the station is rather high, i would imagine around 80 as the services seem to fly through the station which isn't usually the case for the South Western Mainline.
