HEMA teaches martial arts from the past. This includes also the Victorian and Edwardian Era of Great Brittan. Alfred Hutton was a famous fencing master, very well known for his military sabre. In His book Cold Steel, he wrote also about the great stick. This system combines his style of sabre with the Spadone - the Italian Greatsword of Marozzo and some French parries of the baton - which are neraly the same as the old English Quarterstaff according to Hutton.
This Video focus on the long combinations with two ripostes.
