TAUPOU SAMOA was founded in August of 1990, under the direction of Aunty Kiki Sotoa Solia and her family. Our mission is to share the culture of Samoa and the Pasefika Islands through dance, music, and storytelling. Our classes and workshops provide a unique and enriching experience that will help participants gain knowledge and appreciation of the cultures of Polynesia, with an emphasis on Samoa.
At TAUPOU SAMOA, we believe that it is important to preserve, protect, and promote the traditional dances, songs, and stories of the Samoan people and the Pacific Region. Our classes and workshops provide a safe and welcoming environment for all who wish to learn about this beautiful culture.
