I Tried Making The Fastest Song Physically Possible...

I attempt to create the fastest song possible, exploring the maximum BPM humans can hear, the theoretical BPM limit, Ableton BPM cap, 20 Hz vs 20 kHz hearing range, and how rhythm turns into pitch at extreme tempos. I break down why 1200 BPM, speedcore, extratone, and ultra-fast electronic music push the boundaries of sound design, transients, and distorted kicks, then try producing a chaotic high-speed track using Ableton Live, MIDI sequencing, piepkicks, and terrible transitions. If you’re interested in audio physics, music production experiments, loud sounds, or just overall bad content, I'm right here 😸
📼 What’s inside:
00:00 - Excuses
00:45 - Theoretical Shenanigans
01:55 - Planning
02:56 - Ear Destruction
04:17 - I Explode
04:19 - What would you have done?
I realize there are genres called Extratone and Hypertone that often go above the "fastest BPM threshold", but we are just speaking in hypotheticals here lol. There is no "normal genre", each are unique and great in their own way.
