In this video for October 17 I talk a little bit about my time spent with the production team from J-Trip Plan, a fun travel program on the NHK World-Japan broadcasting service. I was filmed for a segment about Getting around Japan while I was in Osaka. After recording the segment I spent the afternoon traveling to Wakayama Prefecture, where I met arguably one of the most famous felines in Japan... the cat stationmaster at Kishi Station on the Wakayama Electric Railway. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor Tama, Nitama welcomes visitors to a unique station and surroundings several days a week.
