La Catedral de Morelia, Michoacán, México

La Catedral de Morelia es un majestuoso edificio de cantera rosa, de estilo barroco tablerado. Su construcción se inició en 1660 y concluyó en 1744. Entre los tesoros que guarda están el Manifestador de plata estilo barroco del siglo XVIII; la Pila Bautismal de plata, de estilo neoclásico, también del siglo XVIII; el Órgano Monumental, de principios del siglo XX y que consta de 4600 flautas; la imagen del Señor de la Sacristía, realizada con la técnica prehispánica de "pasta de caña de maíz", del siglo XVI, así como valiosas pinturas localizadas en la sacristía y la sala capitular. Su órgano monumental, de origen alemán, de principios del siglo XX, fue considerado el órgano más grande de América Latina y actualmente se considera uno de los más importantes de México.
The Cathedral of Morelia is a majestic building made of pink quarry, in a baroque tabletop style. Its construction began in 1660 and ended in 1744. Among the treasures it keeps are the Baroque-style silver Manifestor from the 18th century; the Neoclassical silver Baptismal Font, also from the 18th century; the Monumental Organ, from the beginning of the 20th century and consisting of 4600 flutes; the image of the Lord of the Sacristy, made with the pre-Hispanic technique of "maize cane paste", from the 16th century, as well as valuable paintings located in the sacristy and the chapter house. Its monumental organ, of German origin, from the early 20th century, was considered the largest organ in Latin America and is currently considered one of the most important in Mexico.
