So two years ago, my parents told me that it was time for me to start becoming independent. I had just recently turned 18 and was about to start college. I already started applying to places when they sat me down and gave me their little speech about how important it was to learn the value of money and independence and so, they wanted me to fund my own college tuition and learn how to do everything for myself.
