Tinubu Granted Senate Approval To Send Troops To Benin Republic; Burkina Faso Detains Nigeria's Plane, 11 Personnel

Akpabiole this morning read the letter of request from Tinubu to send Nigeria Troops into Benin Republic after the failed coup in the West African Country two days ago. Nigeria airfor sent fighter jets to the country on the request of the President there and to stabilise the region, Nigeria President want to send more troops, boots on ground into Benin Republic. ECOWAS also declared a state of emergency in West Africa - whatever hat even mean.

Benin Republic is just next to Nigeria amd when the news of a Nigeria Airforce C-130 and the 11 personnel on board, including 2 flight crew were grounded in Bobo-Dioulaso, Burkina Faso for violating the AES Airspace. Many wonder what the operation in Benin got Nigeria to fly as far as Burkina Faso - the Nigeria Air Force claimed the aircraft developed mechanical fault and has to make emergency landing, not intentionally flying over the AES Country. Typical Nigerians are already warning Burkina Faso to thread with caution because Nigeria can blah blah blah if they don't release the detained Nigerian soldiers. UPDATE: THE crew and the detained cargo aircraft have been released.
