In this episode of Picture America, we meet Camrin Dengel, or Camy, a photographer who grew up in Valdez, Alaska, studied natural resources conservation, and discovered her passion for environmental storytelling. After contacting a Patagonia photographer, she moved to Teton Valley, Idaho, where she says “old west meets new west,” and began capturing outdoor adventure, organic farming, and the culture of people living closely with the land.

Through her lens, Camy shares the beauty and community of Teton Valley, from farmers working the land to paddleboarders on the Teton River. Her story highlights the balance of country and countryside, the importance of slow food and conservation, and why reconnecting with the land is essential for beauty, nourishment, and happiness.
