Gilded Lily | Lichenstar PMV

This project is about one of my characters from my Warriors RP server Frostbound Paws! It's still an ongoing and very plot heavy RP. Check it out if you're interested!   / discord  


This PMV follows Lichenstar, leader of BlizzardClan, who is plagued by the betrayals of her past and present. Born unable to have kits, she was rejected and mistreated by her former mate (Thornstar, ginger tabby), and betrayed by her once best friend (Rainstar, grey cat with spiky hair) by having her own kits with Lichenstar's ex. Her inability to have a family of her own has plagued her throughout her life, as she always wished to be a mother, but when she realized that was confirmed to be impossible for her, she threw away that dream, instead focusing on her ambitions to be a clan leader one day. When that dream finally came true, she struggled to connect with her clanmates, often lashing out to those that tried to get close to her.

One cat that she had a soft spot for though was Springkit, an orphaned kitten who was taken in during the early days of her newly formed clan. Lichenstar became a mother figure to him, and unfortunately her protectiveness towards him led to a blind spot in her judgement, unable to recognize Springpaw's reckless nature as he aged, refusing to discipline him. This resulted in her betraying those that spoke out against him, and temporarily tarnishing her reputation as leader. By the time she realized that Springbloom was a traitor, she was too late.

The first scene in this PMV is right after Lichenstar has discovered the truth about her surrogate son and how wrong she was to not listen to her clanmates' warnings.
