Walk in St. Petersburg, Russia | 4k | Liden & Denz

This is the beginning of a new series on our channel where we will take you on short walks in St. Petersburg, Russia to show you special sights and daily life. If there is anywhere you want to go, let us know in the comments.

This was filmed on May 9th, 2021, which is one of the biggest holidays in modern Russia, celebrating Victory Day. The parade happened earlier in the morning, but you can see that many people stayed and walked through the city for the rest of the day. We start this walk on the Moika canal and make our way to the Palace Square. Here, we can see the Hermitage Museum, aka the Winter Palace. In the middle of the square stands the Alexander Column.

We continue towards the Neva River, and cross the Palace Bridge towards Vasilevskiy Island. From the bridge we can see the Hermitage, the Peter and Paul Fortress, and the Rostral Columns.

On the drive back to the city, we pass the Bronze Horseman statue of Peter the Great and then St. Isaac’s Cathedral, followed by Trinity Cathedral.
