Expressing "this" and "these" in Russian

Expressing "this" can be a little tricky in Russian. We'll need to distinguish between indicating something directly, with phrases like "this city/this passport," and identifying or introducing something ("this is a ....").
In this tutorial we'll cover the difference between unchanging это.. (this is, these are) and этот/эта/это/эти (this + noun) .
