In this episode I travelled to Bridport on the Dorset coast ahead of a friend’s wedding and couldn’t resist heading out the evening before to chase the golden light.
I hiked up the cliffs at West Bay for sunset hoping to spot some gulls and found myself eye to eye with them as they soared along the coastal wind. It was an unforgettable experience being that close to them with the sea far below.
This time I also brought out the drone to film some cinematic b roll of the coastline and cliffs. Let me know what you think of those shots should I keep including more of this in future episodes.
Bird wise I managed to capture both a European Herring Gull and a Great Black backed Gull. I also had a moment where I mistakenly thought a juvenile Black legged Kittiwake was a pigeon... we’ve all been there.
