Since the pandemic began, Haleolono only had a few hands to take care of the area. Workdays were canceled, hosted groups couldn't come, and the pond was down to two workers. The work was slow and Haleolono wasn't getting the care and love that it used to.

As things started to open up again, we slowly brought back our community workdays and opened up for small groups(no more than 10 people). Our first three workdays were a success! Edith Kanakaʻole Foundation provided lunches for those who participated to give thanks for all their hard work they contributed. Haleolono is beyond grateful for all the love and support she has gotten during this pandemic.
