With the Great British weather in full swing on Monday, this race meeting definitely saw a lot of cars hitting the track with the wrong set-ups. You could have the car set well suited to dry conditions, and within no time the skies would change their mind and down would come the rain! 20 minutes later? Bone dry again.
With all of this the race track was really rather slippery all day, so it was very likely a few accidents would occur; but Castle Combe did a phenomenal job to keep things moving and we even managed to finish ahead of the timetable!
Obviously this past weekend has been a difficult one with the tragic deaths of a couple of motorsport heroes, my condolences to their friends and families. It was a lovely touch having a minute silence over the lunch break at this race day to remember those that put on a show and entertain us all!
